Karen is a leadership development specialist and learning consultant with a passion for coaching, training, and fostering personal effectiveness in practical ways.
Karen’s approach to leadership development is to help people upgrade their “inner operating” system which requires leaders to think and behave in ways associated with higher levels of consciousness. Einstein said: “The solutions to our current problems cannot be solved from the same level of consciousness that created them.” Her focus is to work with leaders to reveal the relationship between patterns of action and internal thoughts and assumptions that drive their behavior. Getting her clients to the source of their behavior allows them to make new choices and get greater leverage on the results they desire in their life.
Karen currently works with national and international consulting companies, lending her expertise on large client projects in individualized leadership development programs, executive coaching, custom training design, and performance management. She also has extensive international and cross-cultural experience having delivered development and coaching services in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America.
Prior to being an independent consultant, Karen was responsible for leadership development and enterprise learning in large financial institutions. In that role, she collaborated with leaders to develop learning strategies that addressed specific business unit needs, and designed, developed, and delivered training via classroom, virtual learning, and one-on-one coaching. During that time, Karen played an integral part in the enterprise wide leadership development and change management initiatives for senior leaders, corporate managers, and sales and servicing associates.
Karen studied Language and Business Commerce in Germany and France, and is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coach Federation. She is certified in a number of 360-Degree Assessment tools and holds a an Integral Facilitations Certification from Ten Directions.

Professional Certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being. The Mason coaching focus emphasizes strengths-based approaches and methodologies as well as transformative practices that deepen self-awareness, develop coaching presence, and facilitate organizational well-being. This experiential program features a competency and research-based curriculum that aligns with the International Coaching Federation (ICF)requirements and coaching competencies.

International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited Coach U Certified Graduate
Advanced Coach Training program - 175 hrs of coach specific training, fieldwork, module exams, case study essays, and mentor coaching.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

Karen Boskemper brings first-hand experience of navigating personal transition and change, and knows the internal challenges people face when required to adapt to new business situations and environments.
Born in the United Kingdom, educated in Germany, France, and South Africa, Karen has worked with clients in Europe, Asia, North America, and Canada and brings an international approach to her coaching and understanding of cultural nuances in society and within organizations. She is fluent in German and has a working knowledge of French.
